some marriage.....

i just watched one true story or some sort of a documentery at AL Jazeera....

it is about a marriage of one culture.....

a turkish culture to be exact......

the story goes like this,

a women came and tell her story of her marriage.....her love story actually starts off when she was 13 years old.....a friend of her brother gave a letter to her.....his name is mehmet...so she told the viewer about the content of the letter.....it was full of beautifull word....romantic one's.....she said at that age, she was confused when that letter came to her.....she was confused....she never felt love or passion about someone.....(imagine 13 years of age only).....but she stated in her mind that no one had ever said such nice words to her...and really care about her.....but the thing is, she never met mehmet....not even his face....she kept in her mind that maybe Mehmet is the only one for her....so they start calling each other....she is beautiful....her green eyes....she wears a scarf because she is a muslim....

as they start calling, her phone bill increases dramatically.....then, her father was very mad....because they are poor....she was afraid of her father as her father ask her about the increase of the phone bills....she was scared....then she mad a decision of her life....she called Mehmet and told him ' u must come and take me away with u or i will kill myself'......As a lover, mehmet did came to her house and sort of kidnapped her to his house.....far away....so they live together and married secretly.....but the thing is people start talking bout them......in turkey, to get married they need to pay a certain amout of money to the bride as an exchange.....without it the marriage ' x sah'....its like hantaran......so they live with a legal mariage according to islam but not to their culture......she had her first son at the age of 14.....but she had that baby aborted....then she had had her second son but that he had a fit the age of 38 days and now his brain is impaired.....so he cannot do his normal activity as a kid.....she had 2 sons and a daughter after that....

then,they live happily although people were talking about them....but, the sad part did came...Mehmet than died because of a road accident....She was ecstatic of the news....she lost everything....Mehmet was everything to her.....she tried to cope with life ones more.....she asked for the help of her mother in law to raise her sons and daughter together but she wouldn't help her....then, she took her last option that is to return back home....thank goodness her father accepted her....then she lived as a widow for a while....then according to their culture, a widow cannot marry another man except from the relative of her late husband.....so her husbands brother was forced to marry her.....i forgot his name....then his picture appeared on the screen...

he said his part of the story....he said that he luv someone else.....he did not get the freedom of choosing his wife....the fact that Mehmet's wife is older than him makes him less spirited to get married....but the rule is still a rule...but he has to accept it sincerely.....so he maks sumthin he never taught he would do that was gettin drunk.....he drink RAKi....after he got drunk he gives his node and accept to marry her......late Mehmet's wife was first reluctant to marry him also but she cleared up her mind and agree at last.....now they say they never regret marying each other...he even forgot that his wife was his latebrother's former wife...


haish...different culture have differnt rule of marriage....ALHAMDULILLAH malay has a gud culture....but the way she gain luv was respectable....able to luv someone easily as she has positive attitude....which proves that u can luv anyone as long as u r willing to0o...only this kind of attitude is very hard to find.......willingness....positive thinking......tawakal.....
